Gail Pomeroy Doktor is an ordained United Church of Christ (UCC) pastor and an interfaith chaplain. She currently serves as the settled pastor of Jackson Community Church in Jackson, NH. Prior to this ministry, she served in short-term transitional ministry positions for parish churches in New England and worked as an interfaith chaplain on staff at Beverly Hospital, Lahey Health Network, Beverly, MA. Gail is certified for transitional ministry through the United Church of Christ Massachusetts Conference, has been trained in interfaith chaplaincy, and completed additional training in mediation, boundary awareness, and other specialized preparation for ministry. Gail is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School (HDS), Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. She is also the co-founder and director of Bright Happy Power, a small family-run nonprofit serving children and families living with cancer and other catastrophic challenges.
